Myleene Klass has finally cut all financial ties with her ex-husband, Graham Quinn, by closing the company that managed her £11 million fortune, the Sunday People can reveal.
The singer and former Hear'Say star, 35, was joint director of AvaHero Limited, named after their daughters Ava, six, and Hero, two. The company was shut down after Quinn's directorship was terminated in December 2013. Klass is now the sole director of a new firm, HarperBailey, named after her daughters' middle names.
Klass, who found fame on the ITV talent show Popstars in 2001, has vowed never to marry again. Speaking on ITV's Loose Women, she said: "I don't regret much in life, but if I had one regret, it would be not getting a pre-nup." She added that her priest had advised her to get one, but she refused, believing the marriage was for love and forever.
Klass and Quinn were together for 11 years before marrying in front of 16 guests in 2011. However, the marriage lasted only six months, with Quinn ending it without explanation in April 2012. The bitter divorce battle saw Klass hand over £1.8 million from the sale of their marital home in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, to prevent the divorce from stalling.
AvaHero was formed in April 2011 to handle Klass's estimated £11 million fortune, earned from her role as the face of Littlewoods and various business ventures. Quinn, a former security guard for Hear'Say, was made a director in August 2011. Last April, accounts showed the business was worth over £1 million. Klass now rents an £8,000-a-month family home in Highgate, North London.
