True crime documentary Murder 24/7 has returned for a third series, and a recent episode has left many viewers in tears. The episode, which aired on July 29 on BBC One, focuses on a murder investigation that begins with a chilling 999 call.
Chilling confession and heartbreaking scenes
The episode features a killer's confession to a 999 call handler, leading to a harrowing investigation into the death of a much-loved mother. Police officers at the scene were later seen in tears after collecting birthday presents for the victim's young sons, who would celebrate their birthdays without their mother.
