Mum Pleads for Respect After Influencer's Dubai Death

The devastated mother of Kauana Bilhar, a Brazilian influencer who died after falling from the 27th floor of a Dubai high-rise building, has issued a desperate plea for the public to stop speculating about her daughter's death.

Influencer's Final Posts Before Tragic Death

Kauana Bilhar, 27, was known for her modelling and travel content, amassing thousands of followers on social media. Just weeks before her death on July 7, 2026, she had announced her engagement to partner Barbara Abrantes. Her final Instagram post showed a huge bouquet of flowers with their initials and a love heart, alongside a new British Shorthair kitten given as a present. She wrote: 'Thank you for accrediting our dream when it was already in the process of accrediting. I am completely fulfilled, happy and even more excited about you. I love you.'

Mother's Emotional Plea for Respect

Confirming her daughter's death, Darla Bilhar said in an emotional statement: 'There are no words capable of expressing the magnitude of the longing you left behind. Today you are no longer by my side as I dreamed, but you will live forever within me. I love you infinitely, my girl. Until the day we can meet again.'

As social media users circulated malicious comments and speculation about the cause of death, Darla pleaded: 'My daughter deserves respect. She can no longer respond to the accusations, the malicious comments, the stories that are being created about her. It is with my soul in pieces that I come to speak out. My daughter deserves respect.'

Investigation Underway

Authorities in Dubai are investigating the circumstances of the fall, which occurred from a high-rise building. According to reports, police have not yet ruled out whether it was an accident, suicide, homicide, or femicide. The investigation continues as the family mourns their loss.
