Marks & Spencer staged the first fashion show on Silverstone's pit lane ahead of the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix, swapping wheels for high heels in a display that brought together fashion, motorsport, and celebrity culture.
A cast of 50 models walked through the working garages to launch M&S's new 'Dress to Thrill' summer edit, using the backdrop of team cars and race-day engineering to showcase looks from the 'Love That' range. Celebrities including Jodie Kidd and Oliver Proudlock attended the event.
Show features womenswear and menswear with sporty edge
The show included both womenswear and menswear styled with a sporty edge, featuring denim, tailoring, lace, and leather, as well as pieces linked to M&S's partnership with Atlassian Williams Racing.
With hundreds of thousands of fans expected at Silverstone over the Grand Prix weekend, the show marked the start of a packed few days.
M&S marketing director calls show a 'bold step'
Sharry Cramond, Marketing Director for Fashion, Home & Beauty at M&S, said: "We're so excited to be partnering with Silverstone across its incredible season, including the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026. Bringing fashion to the track like this with the first ever pit lane fashion show is a really bold step for us. It's a great example of how we're showing up in new, unexpected ways at the UK's biggest moments and delivering something that no-one has done before."
Cramond added: "At M&S we're focused on being part of what people really care about, and it doesn't get bigger than this. From our partnership with Atlassian Williams Racing to being right here at Silverstone, we're adding even more style, excitement and energy for our customers. Silverstone is where sport, culture and music come together. Our Dress to Thrill edit captures that perfectly - versatile, modern, great value summer style, brought to life on one of the most iconic stages in sport. Love that."
The collection is available now online and in stores, with further drops planned throughout the summer.
