Molly-Mae Hague Hints at Baby Name but Warns Fans May Be 'Disappointed'
Molly-Mae Hague Hints at Baby Name, Warns Fans

Molly-Mae Hague has dropped a significant clue about the name she and Tommy Fury have chosen for their newborn baby, but the former Love Island star has cautioned fans that they might be left feeling 'disappointed'.

Second Child for the Couple

The 27-year-old influencer and her boxer partner Tommy Fury, who already share three-year-old daughter Bambi, announced the arrival of their second child with a heartwarming Instagram post on Wednesday evening. The caption simply read: '...and then there were 4'.

While the couple have yet to disclose the name of their new arrival, Molly-Mae uploaded a YouTube video just days before giving birth in which she discussed a name she had in mind, warning fans that it might not be universally popular.

What Molly-Mae Said About the Name

In the video, she said: 'Final bets do we think I'm having girl or I'm having a boy? And what do we think we're calling it? I think people are going to be a bit disappointed, upon reflection I don't think it's that crazy.'

She added: 'I know people are going to pronounce it wrong ... I just feel like people are going to say it wrong because when I mention the name to a few people or I've spelt it out because I have this big complex about people saying it wrong, and then a few of my friends have said it completely wrong - Like absolutely not how you pronounce it.'

'But then also, if you know this word or you know the name, you would pronounce it how it is - For me I just see it as exactly what it is.'

Molly-Mae went on to explain: 'It's definitely not as different as Bambi, I wouldn't say, but I have only ever heard one other child be called it and it's not someone in the public eye, it's literally just someone I am connected to through a friend, someone they know, their child is called it. But I just think it sounds so good with the surname Fury that is another reason why I love it so much.'

Potential Reveal on Fight Shorts

The reality star also teased that she is considering stitching the newborn's name onto the back of the shorts that Tommy is set to wear in his upcoming match against Eddie Hall on June 13. She said: 'I am thinking, do I put the name of baby number two on his fight shorts? Because he always has Bambi's name on his fight shorts and I don't want to leave the baby off. Maybe that's how we announce the name on his fight shorts, that would actually be quite cool.'

Molly-Mae was still in her hospital gown for the birth announcement photo but beamed with pride, while Tommy also smiled as he stood over his family. The post was flooded with congratulations from fans and celebrities alike, including Rochelle Humes who wrote: 'Congratulations gang,' and Molly's sister Zoe Rae who commented: 'Hehehehehe en route for more cuddles.'

The couple have not yet revealed the gender of their new baby, though one fan speculated: 'Am going to guess BOY xx.'

Molly-Mae surprised fans with the pregnancy news in February, when she was already six months along. The news had been quietly shared with family and friends before the public announcement.
