Molly-Mae Hague has faced criticism from online trolls over her choice of nursery decor for her daughter Bambi, but her loyal fans have rushed to her defence. The former Love Island star, who welcomed her first child with fiancé Tommy Fury in January, shared a video on her YouTube channel showing off items she bought from Homesense for Bambi’s cloud-themed nursery at their £4m Cheshire mansion.
Among the purchases were a soft grey elephant armchair, a £20 cream washing basket, two cream storage baskets, and a whale-shaped basket for toiletries. Molly-Mae explained that the neutral colours fit “perfectly” with the nursery’s aesthetic, and that the elephant chair would help Bambi with sitting up. She gushed: “Have you ever seen anything cuter in your whole life?”
However, some critics disapproved of the neutral palette, with one follower commenting: “Babies like colour you know babe.” This sparked a wave of support from fans, who argued that the decor choices were a matter of personal preference. One fan wrote: “Not your kid, not your problem,” while another added: “She [Bambi] will get so much use out of that chair for a long time! Kids love them.”
In the same video, Molly-Mae revealed that Tommy Fury has moved out of their home for two months to attend a training camp ahead of his upcoming match against KSI. She described it as a “sad day” but acknowledged the importance of him preparing without distractions.
