Molly-Mae Hague fans think she subtly revealed her son's name months before he was born in what they have hailed as a clever 'marketing' move.
The influencer and her partner, Tommy Fury, welcomed their second child into the world earlier this month, three years after the arrival of their first child, daughter Bambi. They confirmed the safe arrival of their new bundle of joy in a joint Instagram post on June 3.
While they didn't reveal the gender or name of their new addition at the time, Molly-Mae captioned the sweet post, which featured a picture of the newly expanded family for the first time: "....and then there were 4," alongside a white love heart emoji.
It was days later that the pair confirmed they are now proud parents to a son, sharing the news alongside a sweet video of Bambi meeting her baby brother for the first time. The name reveal, however, came last weekend, as the former Love Island stars used Tommy's return to the boxing ring to reveal their newborn son's name, Midas, which was spelt out on the back of the boxer's shirt and boxing shorts, during his fight against the former world's strongest man, Eddie Hall.
Now, an eagle-eyed TikTok user thinks they have uncovered the moment that Molly-Mae revealed her son's name before he was born. @Gracieelzxo posted a clip to her page where she asked: "Am I the last or first person to find out that Midas was hidden in Molly-Mae's Spotify playlist?"
It was back in January that Molly-Mae revealed that she was teaming up with Adidas for a limited collection. The 27-year-old said at the time that the collaboration has been 'years in the making' and admitted it still didn't 'feel real' as she prepared to launch a limited footwear collection with the brand. At the end of March, fans got to see the two trainers Molly-Mae had designed for the first time - a reimagining of the Superstar II and the Samba - ahead of their official release, which was on April 9.
The fan continued to explain: "Because I feel like I am the first one. So I was looking through Spotify and I follow her obviously, I went through her playlist and she's got a new one called For Adidas, but it cant be that new, so I'm not that much of a follower. Clicked on it, four, five songs down, Midas."
Meanwhile, Molly-Mae spoke of the name she had chosen for baby number two in her last YouTube vlog before giving birth: "I think people are going to be a bit disappointed. I actually, upon reflection, I don't actually think it's that crazy, but I know people are going to pronounce it wrong and that is what is going to it's going to... I just feel like people are going to say it wrong because when I've mentioned the name to a few people, they or I've spelt it out because I had this like complex about people saying it wrong and I've spelled it out and then a few of my friends have said it completely wrong. But then also I think if you know this word or you know the name, you would just pronounce it how it is. For me, I just see it as just exactly what it is. But anyway it's definitely not as different as Bambi, I wouldn't say. But I have never ever heard I've only ever heard one other child be called it."
