The Divide

Post-apocalyptic sci-fi horror The Divide centres on nuclear attack survivors seeking shelter in a building's basement, who rapidly descend into conflict as resources become scarce. Achieving merely 26% on Rotten Tomatoes, The Divide also features Michael Biehn, Lauren Christine German and Rosanna Arquette.

Second Act

Shifting to one of Ventimiglia's more cheerful offerings is romantic comedy Second Act, where he appears alongside Jennifer Lopez. The 2018 picture tells the story of an under-qualified woman who, armed with a fabricated CV, secures a prestigious corporate position she must somehow maintain. Second Act received a slightly below-average rating of 44%.

The Art of Racing in the Rain

Also languishing at 44% is the drama The Art of Racing in the Rain, narrated from the perspective of owner Denny's (Ventimiglia) golden retriever Enzo. The synopsis reads: 'Enzo learns that the methods used on the race track by his Formula One driver owner can also be used to navigate through life.' Ventimiglia appears alongside Mamma Mia!'s Amanda Seyfried and Yellowstone star Kevin Costner, who provides the voice of Enzo.

Heroes

Superhero fans will fondly remember the noughties sci-fi series Heroes, in which ordinary individuals develop extraordinary abilities and 'use their powers to prevent catastrophes and save humanity from destruction.' Heroes also features Hayden Panettiere, Landman's Ali Larter, Zachary Quinto and Kristen Bell, amongst others. While the debut series of Heroes achieved an impressive 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, the subsequent three seasons scored considerably lower, leaving the show with just 52% overall.

Opposite Sex

Ventimiglia isn't the sole recognisable face in this teen comedy, which also boasts Captain America legend Chris Evans and One Tree Hill's Lindsey McKeon. Opposite Sex follows Jed Perry as he relocates to a new town and enrols at a formerly all-girls school, where he finds himself one of only three male pupils. The series has garnered a respectable 71% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Rocky Balboa

Ventimiglia features in the iconic Rocky franchise, appearing in the 2006 instalment Rocky Balboa. Earning 78% with audiences, the film sees Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) come out of retirement to respond to a challenge from a reigning boxing champion. Ventimiglia takes on the role of Rocky's son Robert 'Rocky Jr' Balboa.

The Company You Keep

Despite lasting only one season on ABC, The Company You Keep resonated strongly with audiences who awarded it 85%. Appearing alongside Catherine Haena Kim, Tim Chiou and Felisha Terrell, the synopsis reads: 'A night of passion leads to love between con man Charlie and undercover CIA officer Emma, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the family business with sights set on getting out for good, Emma works to close in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie's family debts in hand.'

American Dreams

Wholesome drama American Dreams, which has achieved 85%, centres on the Pryor family, offering a 'nostalgic look back at American in the 1960s - Rock and roll, equal rights and war.' Ventimiglia joins in the third series as Chris Pierce, the rebellious boyfriend of Meg Pryor (Brittany Snow).

Gilmore Girls

Naturally, no compilation of Milo Ventimiglia's finest performances would be complete without the charming small-town drama Gilmore Girls. Ventimiglia portrayed Jess Mariano, Rory Gilmore's (Alexis Bledel) significant love interest as well as Luke Danes' (Scott Patterson) rebellious nephew. It comes as little surprise that Gilmore Girls boasts an impressive 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the second highest-rated show in the star's career.

This Is Us

Taking the top spot with a near-perfect score of 94% is the acclaimed drama This Is Us. Spanning six seasons, the series unfolds across two distinct timelines. The first delves into the romance between Jack (Ventimiglia) and Rebecca Pearson (Mandy Moore), while the second is set in the present day, following the individual struggles of their three now-adult children at various stages of their lives.

I Will Find You is available to stream on Netflix.
