Millie Bobby Brown 'secretly welcomes second child' with husband Jake Bongiovi

Millie Bobby Brown, 22, has reportedly adopted a second child with her husband Jake Bongiovi, 24, according to a source who spoke to People. The news comes just a year after the couple adopted their first child, a baby girl, in August 2025.

Hints on Instagram

The Stranger Things actress and her husband are thought to have hinted at the new addition in a recent Instagram post. In a video from their trip to the Dolomites, Millie held their daughter while Jake appeared to have a baby carrier strapped to his front. With their backs to the camera, any new family member could not be seen.

Fans also speculated about another picture Millie posted from the holiday, showing four eggs in a bowl, which they guessed could refer to the number of people now in the Brown-Bongiovi family. The Mirror contacted Millie's reps for comment, but they did not respond.

Family Life

After adopting her first child, Millie wrote on Instagram: "This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were three."

This year, Millie shared more of her daughter, including in a birthday post where the two sat on a beach in matching brown cardigans. In the caption, she wrote: "Grateful for my husband and daughter. for my family and friends. all of my animals. I am so blessed. Thank you for the birthday wishes. xoxo."

Privacy and Criticism

Millie and Jake have largely kept their daughter out of the spotlight. In a 2025 interview with British Vogue, Millie said: "For me, it's really important to protect her and her story until she's old enough to potentially one day share it herself. It's not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that's something we'd support."

When she adopted her daughter, Millie faced criticism from some who felt she was too young to be a mother. She told the Smartless podcast: "My mum actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. And my nan, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life. It's a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing. And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family."
