Millie Bobby Brown has revealed she has officially changed her name following her marriage to Jake Bongiovi and the adoption of their baby daughter. The 21-year-old Stranger Things star, who tied the knot with Jon Bon Jovi's son last year, disclosed the update during an interview with her co-star Noah Schnapp for VT.

When Schnapp attempted to recall her full name, he guessed 'Millie Bonnie Brown Bongiovi,' but Brown corrected him. 'No Bobby. Start again,' she said, before clarifying: 'Drop the Brown. It's just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi.' She jokingly added that the name could be shortened to 'Millie Bon Bon'.

The revelation comes months after Brown first disclosed her real name earlier this year. During promotion for the Netflix film The Electric State, she told Chris Pratt: 'My middle name is Bonnie... It's Millie Bonnie Brown. I've never told anyone that.' She explained she had chosen 'Bobby' as a stage name, saying she thought it was more unique than Bonnie.

In August, Brown and Bongiovi announced they had adopted a baby girl, describing motherhood as a 'beautiful, amazing journey'. Their joint statement read: 'This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.'
