Michelle Keegan has shared a rare glimpse into motherhood after revealing her daughter, Palma, had hit a major milestone. The Blame actress gave birth to her first child with husband Mark Wright last March, introducing their little one to the world shortly after.
Since then the couple, both 39, have taken steps to keep her out of the spotlight but the soap favourite couldn’t help but celebrate that she had turned 18 months old.
Rare Instagram post
Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-one posted a sweet snap of the tot faced away from the camera, while wearing a tiny denim dress in front of two wooden plaques, which were personalised with her name and ‘18 months’.
Alongside the upload, which was posted on her story, Michelle simply wrote: “How did that happen?”
Family background
She welcomed baby Palma with Mark in March 2025, just months after revealing her pregnancy with fans. They captioned the joint post announcing her arrival: "Together we have a new love to share... Our little girl."
The couple first started dating in 2012 and quickly became inseparable, walking down the aisle three years later.

Michelle became a household name thanks to her stint as barmaid Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street - a role she remained in for six years. Since then, she has claimed parts in BBC drama Our Girl and Netflix hit, Fool Me Once.
She is next set to grace our screens in The Blame on ITV, starring opposite Douglas Booth, Joe Armstrong and Nigel Boyle. The six-part series will premiere on September 20 and follows a local town being rocked by a tragic death.

The official synopsis reads: "What starts as a tragic death in the quiet town of Wakestead, spirals into a tangled web of lies, institutional cover-ups, and moral compromise as DI Crane (Michelle) and DI Radley (Douglas) dig deeper."
Earlier this year, Michelle spoke candidly about getting back to work after Palma’s birth, and how it felt to return to a set after such a huge change.
She told Graham Norton at the ITV Showcase: "Coming back to work after having a baby is quite daunting. The production [crew] were so supportive and I was so looked after and it was like working with family."
While Michelle and co are gearing up for The Blame, it has been claimed that she quit another drama just weeks before it was due to start filming.
According to reports, she was due to appear as a working class barrister in a new series penned by Sherlock creator Steve Thompson, with cameras set to roll from November.
However, she is thought to have stepped back to prioritise Palma, with former Doctor Who actress Jodie Whittaker reportedly taking her place instead.
An insider told the Sun: "Michelle was really keen to take on the meaty role, but the heavy filming schedule would take her away from daughter Palma for too long.
"The hours were quite intense and the project was starting straight after her Netflix drama The Woods and she just couldn’t commit.
"She is dedicated to her acting career, but like all working mums has to prioritise being there for her family, juggling work, parenting and being present for Palma."
