Michael Jackson's Son Prince Recalls Confusion Over Fans Fainting at Sight of His Father

Prince Jackson, the eldest son of Michael Jackson, has opened up about his childhood confusion when fans would faint at the sight of his famous father. In a rare interview on Thursday, the 24-year-old philanthropist, whose real name is Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., described a pivotal moment when he realised the extent of his father's fame.

Speaking to Fox Soul, Prince recalled asking his father why people were fainting at a concert. 'I see you every day and I don't faint,' he said. He explained that this 'single a-ha moment' occurred when he was around 10 or 11, watching a video of his father performing to a sea of adoring fans.

Prince also shared the life lessons his father imparted, emphasising the importance of continuous learning. 'The minute that you stop learning is the minute that you're going to start dying,' he quoted his father as saying. Prince graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a business degree in 2019.
