Mel B, known as Scary Spice from the Spice Girls, and her husband Rory McPhee have surprised fans with a second wedding celebration in Morocco, just a month after their initial nuptials in London. The singer, 50, and hairstylist, 37, shared the news on Sunday via a joint Instagram post, revealing they had tied the knot again at the five-star hotel Selman Marrakech.
“We got married!!! Again! A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest in our fav place at @selmanmarrakech,” the former Spice Girl wrote in the caption. “We had the time of our lives!!” For the ceremony, Mel B wore a red sequin, strapless dress by Justin Alexander, while McPhee donned a classic white tuxedo with black trousers. In the accompanying photo, the couple are seen smiling and dancing down the aisle.
Former Spice Girls bandmate Mel C confirmed her attendance in an Instagram comment, writing: “What a weekend! So happy we got to share it with you.” The couple’s first wedding took place at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 5. For that event, Mel B wore a dramatic white gown with pearl detailing around the neckline and sheer sleeves, featuring a long veil. The dress was a bespoke design by British designer Josephine Scott, via bridal boutique Evelie Bridal, who said Mel B wanted to evoke “strength, sensuality, and timeless glamour.”
At the London ceremony, McPhee wore a black tuxedo with a red tartan kilt. Emma Bunton was among the first stars pictured arriving at the cathedral, accompanied by her husband Jade Jones and their 17-year-old son Beau. Other celebrities in attendance included comedian Katherine Ryan, broadcaster Gaby Roslin, model Daisy Lowe, and TV presenter Angellica Bell.
Victoria Beckham was reportedly unable to attend the July event, but shared a congratulatory message on social media, writing: “Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man!” Mel B and McPhee were long-time friends before beginning their relationship in 2018, becoming engaged in 2022. Mel B had previously sworn off marriage, but told People in 2024: “I was like, ‘I'm never going to get married again. Never, never, never... And then… never can say never, can you?’”
