Meghan Markle has become the second least popular member of the Royal Family in the UK, according to a new YouGov poll conducted after the Duchess of Sussex's visit to Britain earlier this month.

The survey, conducted between July 21-22 among 2,063 Britons, found that only 22% of respondents have a favourable view of Meghan, while 65% hold an unfavourable opinion. She ranks just above Prince Andrew, who has a mere 2% favourability and 92% unfavourability.
Popularity of other royals
Prince William and Kate Middleton remain the most popular royals, with around three-quarters of Britons (74-76%) viewing them favourably. Princess Anne follows with 70% favourability. King Charles III is viewed favourably by 62% of Britons, with 31% unfavourable.
Prince Harry saw a rare boost: 33% of Britons now view him favourably, up six points since May 2025, while unfavourability fell five points to 58%.
The poll indicates that despite Meghan's quiet appearance during the trip, her public perception in the UK remains low.
