Returning to the Royal Family seems unlikely after her and Prince Harry's criticisms, even if King Charles would welcome Harry back. Meghan's options are narrowing, with a possible role in the Suits reboot also uncertain.
Dancing with the Stars has a history of rehabilitating images. The show featured Anna Delvey, a convicted fraudster, in 2024, who wore an ankle tag on the dance floor and was quickly eliminated. Despite this, her appearance pushed her back into public consciousness, leading to modelling contracts at New York Fashion Week with the ankle monitor visible.

Similarly, former White House press secretary Sean Spicer appeared on season 28 after backlash over promoting misinformation. Spicer, who made controversial claims about Hitler and chemical weapons, finished in 6th place. If DWTS can help Delvey and Spicer, it could help Meghan too.
Meghan could even bring Prince Harry for a confessional or a phone-in segment. While it might be a downgrade from her Netflix show, it seems like the only path forward.
