Meghan Markle's Birthday Posts Expose Her 'Biggest Problem'

Meghan Markle's birthday posts this week exposed her "biggest problem" when it comes to her popularity, an expert has said. The Duchess of Sussex celebrated turning 45 on Tuesday and marked her big day with social media posts.

Birthday Posts Under Scrutiny

The main post was a photograph of Meghan jumping into a pool, holding up birthday balloons. She then uploaded two videos to her Instagram story. The first showed her dancing around her kitchen in pyjamas and a t-shirt reading: "It's Giving Mrs." The second showed her trying to put birthday hats on her two dogs, with her husband, Prince Harry, heard chuckling in the background.

While the posts were light-hearted, one expert thinks they showed Meghan's "biggest problem" - the fact nothing she posts feels "natural".

Expert's Verdict: 'Curated Content Strategy'

Speaking on The Royals Uncensored podcast, Celebrity Intelligence founder Dan Wakeford said Meghan's posts are all part of a "content strategy", which takes away how candid these moments really are.

When asked about the birthday posts, he said: "It's like everything with Meghan, it feels like a curated content strategy. It didn't feel natural, it felt very orchestrated."

He continued: "The 'It's Giving Mrs' shirt shows everything about what Meghan is right now, still very much selling the marriage as the brand. It didn't feel natural and that's Meghan's big problem."

Mixed Reactions from the Public

While Meghan's fans enjoyed the birthday posts, others were less impressed. One person wrote on X: "It's absolutely cringe; which other 45 yr old do you know that behaves this way for their birthday?" Someone else commented: "Loves herself way too much!"
