Journalist calls posts 'cringeworthy'
Journalist Chloe Walker, speaking on News 24 (formerly Sky News Australia), labeled the posts "cringeworthy." She suggested Meghan wanted to ensure everyone knew it was her birthday despite Eugenie's announcement. "The internet has certainly been divided over Meghan's series of posts," Walker said. "Even though Eugenie's baby news was a great thing for the Royal Family to celebrate, Meghan definitely didn't miss out."
Walker noted Meghan's early morning posts, including one where she danced with a plastic crown and a t-shirt reading "It's giving Mrs." She said Meghan wanted to show she's "still fun-loving" and that all is well in Montecito.

Some fans adored the videos for offering a glimpse into the Sussexes' lives. Others commented, "Look how far the mighty have fallen. She could have been wearing a real crown, but instead now she's just wearing a plastic crown on her birthday."
