Meghan Markle Reveals Morning Ritual Before UK Return News

Just hours before the announcement that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be moving back to the UK, the Duchess shared her morning routine online. Taking to social media, the duchess revealed her daily ritual on her brand's account, As Ever.

An image posted online showed herbal tea alongside a glass bottle of tea leaves on a lawn, next to an exercise mat. On the post, a caption says: "Meghan starts her day with a bag of Peppermint Tea in her water before yoga. Refreshing, simple, and an easy way to ease into the morning."

Previous Morning Routine Insights

This is not the first time the Duchess has shared an insight into how she starts her day. In 2025, she appeared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast. She said that her day usually starts at around 6.30am and she talked about how she prepares her children for the day ahead.

She said: "I get them dressed, get them downstairs, make breakfast… and then if I haven't done their lunch boxes the night before, then I do that," "I love doing lunch boxes; it makes me very happy, and writing a little note in their lunch boxes."

Details of the UK Return

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will relocate to the UK in around 10 days - with reports suggesting they will be back before the end of August. It is not yet known exactly where the couple will settle, but they are allegedly keen on the Cotswolds. The area is popular with A-listers, celebrities and politicians due to the privacy it offers as a rural location.

It is also believed that the family will live in a private, non-royal residence. According to reports, the couple have already secured a property and their children have already enrolled at a British school - they will start in September.

Royal Family Response

The pair quit their royal roles in 2020 - they are not expected to return to life as working members of The Firm. The Telegraph reports that the King was informed of the move on Sunday and was pleased that he will be able to see the family more when they return.
