Meghan Markle mocked over influencer partnership for As Ever brand
Meghan Markle mocked over As Ever influencer partnership

Meghan Markle was mocked online after revealing her latest partnership with her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The Duchess of Sussex's business teamed up with Olivia McDowell, a US influencer with a substantial following who regularly posts about beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. In videos shared by both Olivia and As Ever, the content creator could be seen setting up her home with As Ever goodies as party favors and sharing her top summer hosting tips using the brand's stock.

However, fans were not impressed with the move and accused the Duchess of relying on influencers to make her brand more attractive to customers. One user wrote on X: "It appears that Meghan Markle is so devoid of ideas about how to sell As Ever that she's hired another influencer to basically repeat her same talking points for the brand. Yikes. If the talking points aren't working, you get new talking points, not hire someone else to repeat the same failing lines."

A second user agreed, saying: "Even I think it's pathetic and I've tried to be neutral." Another commented: "Nothing she does will start selling those overpriced fruit spreads and wickless candles." A fourth user added: "Too late. She's already tarnished it by thinking she knew it all and didn't need help or professional advice. Oh well."

This comes as the Duchess shared a new post about her family time in Montecito, California. Meghan posted a series of photos and videos featuring herself, Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet as they've been "springing into summer." The post also includes Mia, Meghan's beagle, and the latest family addition, a group of hatchlings.
