Maura Higgins has secured a spot on the upcoming series of The Traitors USA, marking a significant career move after stepping down from her presenting role on Love Island USA: Aftersun. The 34-year-old reality star, who originally found fame on Love Island, will compete alongside a star-studded cast including Lisa Rinna, Porsha Williams, and Travis Kelce's mother, Donna.
Higgins was unable to return to Love Island USA due to scheduling conflicts, with Sophie Monk stepping in as her replacement. However, fans speculate she may return to host Aftersun for the second season of Love Island Games, which films in Fiji later this year.
The new role comes after a turbulent start to the year for Higgins, who was caught kissing married McFly singer Danny Jones at the BRIT Awards. She later focused on her US career, attending Coachella and networking with celebrities like Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Higgins has been a hit with US audiences since becoming social media host for Love Island USA in 2023.
Other contestants on The Traitors USA include Big Brother stars Ian Terry and Tiffany Mitchell, Survivor's Rob Cesternino, and The Bachelor's Colton Underwood. The show is set to air later this year.
