Maren Morris Opens Up About 'Bisexual Trauma' from First Lesbian Relationship

Country singer Maren Morris has spoken candidly about the 'trauma' of her first lesbian relationship in a TikTok video shared this week. The 36-year-old, who came out as bisexual nearly two years ago after her divorce from Ryan Hurd, detailed the experience in response to a fan's question.

Morris explained that she was clear about not wanting anything serious, but the woman she was seeing quickly became aggressive. 'Within like, three weeks of this completely falling apart, it was lies, threats to my reputation and borderline extortion,' she said, describing the ordeal as 'pretty f***ed up' and 'depressing.'

The singer captioned the post 'bi trauma' and noted that her lesbian friends reassured her such experiences are common in the community. 'You start seeing women, and one is going to almost ruin your life. We've all been there,' they told her. Fans echoed this sentiment in comments, which Morris liked.
