Macaulay Culkin, best known for his role in Home Alone, has opened up about his one regret in his relationship with actress Brenda Song. The couple, who have two children together, Dakota (five) and Carson (three), recently marked a significant milestone in their relationship.
To celebrate their nine-year anniversary, Culkin shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing his feelings about their time together. He wrote: "Today marks a very special day for me. It's been 9 years since my life changed forever. It’s amazing to think that 1 in every 5 days I’ve been alive I have had the honour of waking up next to the love of my life."
However, he also revealed his sole regret: "My only regret is that we haven’t had more time together. Thank you for my everything."
The couple first met in 2013 and later became romantically involved after co-starring in Seth Green's 2019 indie film Changeland. In his anniversary post, Culkin shared a photo of the pair cuddling in matching pale pink outfits.
Fans and friends quickly flooded the comments with sweet messages. DeMarko joked: "Who would’ve thought Kevin McCallister and London Tipton would make the best couple." Walton Goggins wrote: "Good man… wise man. A big milestone y’all." Paris Hilton also liked the post.
Brenda Song shared her own tribute, posting a polaroid of them kissing. She captioned it: "Happy 9 year anniversary @culkamania! As I sit here at this airport, just having wrapped on set and about to fly home to see you and our babies- I can’t help but be a little sentimental and reminisce at how fast 9 years can fly by when I get to enjoy life with you. My life burst into color when you walked into it. I will never know what I did to deserve you and this life that we lead, but I am forever grateful. I truly can’t imagine doing this whole life thing without you. It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it." She ended with: "I love you more and more each day. You’re stuck with me."
Last year, Culkin revealed that his children have no idea he played Kevin in Home Alone, despite watching the film together. He said: "They have no idea that I'm Kevin. They're only three and four years old. I want to keep up that illusion as long as possible."
