Luisa Zissman has launched a brutal rant against people who eat at fast food restaurants. In her scathing attack, she branded the food "gross" — and those who eat it as "lazy sloths".
Podcast Tirade Against Fast Food
Former Apprentice star Luisa, 39, hit out at the fast food industry in the latest episode of her LuAnna podcast as she spoke about her frustration with people who tuck into the likes of McDonald's. She insisted that anyone who eats such food would be "unhealthy".
Chatting with her podcast co-host Anna Williamson, Luisa fumed at people who snack on McDonald's, saying there is no nutritional value. "I think if you eat McDonald's and fast food, that means you're lazy," she stated. "I just feel like you're lazy and unhealthy and you're a sloth. I think badly about people that eat McDonald's, especially McDonald's breakfast, it's just gross."
Co-Host's Pushback and Fan Reactions
Anna tried to fight back against Luisa, admitting that some items such as a sausage McMuffin "hits the spot" — particularly in the morning. But Luisa was having none of it, shutting down the comment, saying it was "rank" instead. "It can't hit the spot, that cannot fuel you effectively for your day ahead!" she fumed.
In the caption of the clip, which was uploaded to her social media, the pair cheekily apologised: "Sorry if you're eating your McFlurry."
Fans were quick to sound off in the comments, taking aim at the brash approach that Luisa took in her comments. One user fumed: "You don’t have to eat everything for fuel, you can eat food for pure enjoyment, this mindset is disordered." A second added: "I wish Luisa would try to get her point across in a less judgemental manner. She has such a superior attitude and is always so patronising." While a third penned: "It’s so easy when you’re talking from a place of privilege." And a fourth typed: "Use are really funny but it’s getting a bit rude now."
Previous Controversy Over School Play Remarks
Luisa has already caused controversy on her podcast after she admitted she would not be going to her daughter's school play, after she landed a "s*** part". The comments sparked a huge backlash from listeners — so much so that she had to publicly apologise. She added that her comments would end up finding their way back to her, after her 9-year-old daughter Indigo asked her about the remarks. "She said 'I can't ever go back to that school now, it's good that we've got to go back to Dubai because I won't be able to go back to that school, because the teachers all watched that,'" Luisa said.
