The Love Island final took an awkward turn on Monday night when former islanders Jess White and Harriett Blackmore aired their ongoing feud live on air. Host Maya Jama asked the pair about their relationship, which had been strained in the villa due to a love triangle with Ronnie Vint.
When asked if they had resolved their differences, Jess replied: 'Yeah... we're all good, no bad blood there. Not on my behalf anyway!' However, Harriett's response was more cutting: 'Well, I left it in the villa, so...' The exchange prompted a flurry of reactions on social media, with viewers praising Harriett's bluntness and noting the tension.
The final also saw Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan crowned winners, taking home the £50,000 prize. Earlier in the evening, Joey Essex and Jessy Potts were dumped from the villa after being voted the least compatible couple by former islanders. Joey, who faced accusations of 'game playing', said he was not surprised by the result and was looking forward to life after the show.
