Love Island stars Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland, who tied the knot last month, have expanded their family with the addition of a French bulldog puppy named Winnie. The couple collected the new pet the day after returning from their honeymoon in the Maldives.
Olivia, 24, told New Magazine: 'The day after we get back from the honeymoon we pick up our new puppy. We'll be new parents again.' The pair already own a French bulldog named Reggie.
Despite being newlyweds, Olivia revealed they pretend not to be married. 'You just have to take it with a pinch of salt and remember you've not changed as people. Saying I'm a wife feels old,' she said.
The couple are in no rush to have children, with Olivia saying she wants to wait another five years. 'It's such a hard job I'm just not ready for it. But I want children and so does Alex,' she added.
Their wedding took place on September 15 at Gosfield Hall in Essex, followed by a honeymoon in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Olivia described a boozy reception that left her with a sore head the next day, admitting she 'stayed up until 3am and got McDonald's the next day.'
