Love Island UK fans are convinced they have spotted a simmering feud between Islanders Lola Deal and Yasmin, with tensions rising amid the ongoing villa drama. Viewers believe there is a hidden rift that has flown under the radar so far.
Tensions at boiling point
Divisions are forming in the Love Island villa as couples face their most serious tests. Lola recently clashed with Julia Majchrzak over Sean Fitzgerald (Fitzy) during Casa Amor, with Lola voicing her distaste for the bombshell. Lola was the only girl who refused to participate in a group chat where Julia apologised for her behaviour before the group made peace.
As friction continues between Lola and Julia, viewers are certain they have detected hostility between Lola and another Islander: Yasmin. Reports from OK! highlight barely noticeable moments that fans have picked up on.
Yasmin's silent support
After taking Lola aside to offer support, Yasmin voiced her worries following Movie Night's exposé of Fitzy's Casa behaviour, but Lola dismissed her concerns. In additional footage, Lola asked Fitzy to avoid speaking to Julia, declaring she 'hated' the bombshell and wouldn't want him talking to her. Tommy and Yasmin were present but remained notably silent.
Fans noticed Yasmin's reluctance to contribute and are now convinced of brewing tensions. One viewer posted: 'Think even the girls are over Lola lol... Yasmin seems to love Julia secretly.' Another wrote: 'Yasmin is realising that Lola is mad woman.' A third added: 'Yasmin is so quiet when it comes to lola because she doesn't understand how someone can act like that when it comes to a man.'
Viewers react
A fourth observer commented: 'Everyone must be scared of Lola looool. The way Tommy and Yasmin said *nothing* when Lola was telling Sean to never speak to Julia again loool. Wow.' A fifth responded: 'i love how yasmin has been clocking lola since the movie night.'
Earlier this week, Lola's brother defended her online against negative comments, acknowledging it was natural for her to dislike Julia because she was pursuing her man. He added: 'Has she done anything that actually deserves the amount of hate she's getting? absolutely f****** not. Have other people done worse in there? Absolutely. Did she call [Julia] a b***? Yes, she said she's a b*** because she was trying to get with her boyfriend.'
Love Island airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
