Louise Redknapp is moving past heartache after breaking up with her boyfriend of two years, Drew Michael. The 51-year-old reportedly felt her relationship with the 42-year-old businessman had run its course, but she is still feeling upset things didn't work out.
Source claims relationship 'wasn't right'
“Louise is sad, as he really helped her get over Jamie [Redknapp], who has moved on and had a child with someone else,” a source claimed to new magazine. “But she realised it wasn’t right. They are from very different worlds and they just went in different directions.”
The singer hasn’t had an easy time of it romantically. She split from her husband of 19 years, football pundit Jamie, in 2017, and later spoke of her regret at not working harder to save the marriage. In 2021, she said: “I wish I’d tried.”

Louise – who has sons Charley, 22, and Beau, 17, with Jamie – first met Drew, who she described as “a really great guy”, in 2023. It was her first big relationship in several years, but it’s reported Drew has now moved overseas. Despite her heartache, the source continued: “Louise hopes to find love again.” We’re told, “She’s very positive, she looks great, she’s got loads of work, and she knows this is the right thing.”
Louise has been open about wanting to escape her "Stepford Wife" role but she later admitted that she shouldn't have blamed her marriage for the sole cause of her unhappiness. "I'm scared about the future - Jamie and I have got to a really positive place with each other, but I don't know what life is going to be like," she told You magazine back in 2019. "I'm nervous about work and career and all those things, because I'm not young. And people are judgmental."

Despite being the one who filed for divorce, the end of their seemingly rock-solid romance nevertheless hit Louise for six. She only decided to dip her toe back into the dating world after a heart-to-heart with her sons and declared herself ready to find love again.
According to reports, Louise split from the businessman and ex-Army officer, 42, earlier this summer. An insider told The Sun: "Louise and Drew decided to end things a little while ago. Things had been really good between them but it felt like their relationship had run its course and they both thought it was best to move on. It was all very amicable and although it's never fun when a relationship ends, Louise has thrown herself back into her social life and her busy work schedule. She's in no rush to jump back into another relationship because she feels very fulfilled with her life right now, but she'll see what happens."
During an open discussion about their relationship, Louise shared some insights. She said: "Drew is great with my boys. He's just a really great guy. I feel very lucky to have met him." Following Louise and Jamie's split, he subsequently tied the knot with model Frida Andersson in 2021, and they share a four-year-old son, Raphael.
