Lisa Snowdon has given her Instagram followers a glimpse of her luxurious holiday in Vietnam, posting photos of herself in swimwear while practising yoga. The 53-year-old This Morning presenter is staying at the Anantara Quy Nhon Villas, where room rates start at £398 per night.
In one image, Snowdon performs a tree pose on a rock while wearing a green and black bikini, maintaining a serene expression. A second photo shows her by the pool in a white and grey bikini top, accessorised with a grey cowboy hat and aviator sunglasses. She captioned the post: "Quy Nhon. Found a little slice of heaven, we will be back. Full moons full happiness."
The presenter is joined on her getaway by her fiancé George Smart, founder of a communications firm, who appears in the background of some of the pictures. The couple first dated more than two decades ago, when Snowdon was an MTV DJ and Smart was the channel's head of events. After splitting, they rekindled their relationship ten years ago and became engaged in 2017.
Despite the length of their engagement, Snowdon has admitted to having "a tiny hint of reservation" about marriage. Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "Deep down I do know it wouldn’t, but then I think, 'Well my mum and dad’s marriage didn’t last,' and some people say, 'Don’t do it because it changes things.' So there's 90 per cent of me that knows nothing would change, but a tiny hint of reservation where I think it would."
Smart, however, reportedly has no such doubts and would marry Snowdon "tomorrow" if all their loved ones could attend. Snowdon has also shared her excitement about using the word "husband", saying: "Being able to call him 'my husband' and saying, 'My husband’s coming soon, I’m just waiting for my husband!' I think I prefer 'my husband' to 'my fiancé' – I’d love it!"
