Lisa Armstrong Finds Love Again with Actor Grant Kilburn

Lisa Armstrong, the make-up artist for Strictly Come Dancing, has reportedly found a new romance with actor Grant Kilburn, 34. The couple have been quietly dating since December, according to a source. Armstrong, 49, was introduced to Kilburn by her friends, former Strictly professional Kevin Clifton and his partner Stacey Dooley, during the tour of the play 2:22 A Ghost Story.

The source claims Armstrong is 'happier than ever' and is being treated 'like a princess'. 'She's been so used to being in relationships where she played second fiddle,' the source said. 'This time, she's number one. She's taking it slow, she doesn't want to get hurt again – but she's being treated like a princess and her new man cannot do enough for him.' The source added that Kilburn's life 'revolves around hers' and he encourages her career.

Armstrong was previously married to TV presenter Ant McPartlin from 2006 until their divorce in 2018. The couple struggled to start a family, and McPartlin's addiction issues led to him entering rehab in 2017. After their split, Armstrong dated electrician James Green, but they ended their relationship in 2023. That same year, her home in Chiswick was severely damaged in a fire.

Kilburn, who starred in the West End production of 2:22: A Ghost Story, suffered a stroke at the age of 23 in 2014, caused by two blood clots at the base of his brain. He has since recovered and the experience inspired him to help others.

The source said Armstrong is not bothered by the 15-year age gap. 'She actually loves dating a younger man – and how different he is to anyone she's dated before,' the source added. Armstrong ended 2024 with a social media post that read: 'You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild, and thrive.'
