Lindsay Lohan dismisses plastic surgery speculation in new interview

Lindsay Lohan has addressed speculation about her appearance, crediting her skincare routine and diet rather than cosmetic procedures for her refreshed look. In an interview with Elle, the actress detailed the habits she says have helped her maintain her appearance.

Lohan revealed that she starts her day with a juice made from carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil and apple, alongside green tea and plenty of water. She also mentioned a fondness for pickled beets, adding that she puts them in almost everything. Her skincare regime includes ice-cold water on the face, lemon juice, chia seeds in water, daily eye patches and laser treatments.

Not every treatment worked for her, however. Lohan said she tried Morpheus8 microneedling but found her skin too thin, explaining that her skin changed after the birth of her son and became highly sensitive. This prompted her to have blood tests to identify allergens and cut them from her diet.

When asked directly about plastic surgery, Lohan admitted, “Everyone does Botox,” before her publicist stepped in to highlight perceived double standards in Hollywood. The publicist argued that women are criticised for changing their appearance and that Lohan had simply adopted a healthier lifestyle.

Lohan also spoke about her recent work, including her three-film contract with Netflix, which produced Falling for Christmas, Irish Wish and Our Little Secret. While she enjoys making uplifting films, she indicated a desire to explore other projects in the future.
