Lily James turned heads at the Legends Gala at London's Natural History Museum on Thursday, wearing a strapless Stella McCartney black gown with a dramatic thigh-high split. The structured dress's elegant neckline highlighted a small tattoo of the number nine on her shoulder.
The 36-year-old actress completed her look with a natural complexion, thick black lashes, and rosy glossy lips. She wore her chestnut hair down with a middle parting. Fans praised the look on Instagram, with model Poppy Delevingne commenting 'Heaven' and others calling her 'beautiful' and noting her 'glowing' skin.
The gala appearance came two days after James reunited with her Mamma Mia! co-star Pierce Brosnan at the Krug and Max Richter 'Every Note Counts' music tasting at Roundhouse. For that event, she wore a long-sleeved midi gown with a choker-like neckline. James has previously called Brosnan 'one of life’s true gentlemen.'
