Katie Price's Husband Lee Andrews Demands Susanna Reid Be Sacked Over GMB Comments
Lee Andrews Demands Susanna Reid Sacked Over GMB Remarks

Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has demanded Susanna Reid be dismissed following remarks she made about him during a live broadcast.

Susanna Reid's Remarks Spark Controversy

Susanna was presenting Good Morning Britain yesterday alongside Martin Lewis when entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold provided the latest news on Lee's prison release and Katie's upcoming documentary. As Richard discussed Katie's new documentary with Sky and how she claimed it should have been eight episodes rather than four because she 'always brings the drama', an exasperated Susanna told her colleague: 'I think my eyes just rolled out of my head.'

Now, Lee has voiced his opinion – once more. Posting to his Instagram stories, he wrote: 'So what is Susanna Reid rolling her eyes at? I'm not going to comment on that because obviously, I'll get onto the sofa with Katie at some point and we'll thrash it out.'

Lee Andrews Accuses Susanna of Prejudice

'Then she can be as forthcoming as she likes but to judge me without any evidence and calling me a conman, that's ridiculous. She should lose her job for that.' He added: 'Your prejudice towards me without actually any solid evidence other than an ex coming forward with a story. If you're an investigative journalist, and surely you should know that', reports the Mirror.

He then went on to describe his prison experience, yet again, before the video ended. He said: 'I'll say it one more time – the National Guard who took me in the beginning have guns and they don't register you as being arrested.'

'They just take you and hold you and that is what happened. Anywhere in the world you go to an airport, they have guns, they're patrolling the border and they took me, not in the best way either. It was not the best experience and from there, they held me in state security. I was transferred..'

Background on the GMB Interview

Susanna quizzed Katie about Lee during her GMB appearance, asking whether her husband was 'unreliable' - to which Katie replied: 'Not to me.' The presenter said: 'What I love about you Katie is that you're very open, but I just wonder if he's telling you everything.'

Lee missed his flight to the UK for his scheduled Good Morning Britain interview alongside Katie. When the research team contacted the Foreign Office regarding Lee, they were informed by a spokesperson: 'We supported a British man who was detained in the UAE.'

Ed then questioned Katie directly about whether Lee had been arrested. She fired back at the time: 'No, I feel like they just said it to me in there [backstage] so I just said to Lee apparently a British man has been detained, can you confirm its not you?' and he's done a voice note back and said it's not him and sent laughing emojis.'
