A Place in the Sun star Laura Hamilton turned heads on the beach in Dubai, wearing a skimpy khaki bikini that highlighted her toned figure. The Channel 4 presenter, known for helping couples find their dream homes on the show, shared snaps of her holiday in an Instagram reel.
Family holiday in Abu Dhabi
Laura spent time with her family at the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island hotel in Abu Dhabi, where she posed on the beach and was also seen enjoying a beverage at a hotel bar. In her Instagram post, she wrote: "I think I just found the best all-inclusive hotel in Abu Dhabi… Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island. As a property and travel expert, I’m always looking for places that genuinely stand out and when it comes to a premium all-inclusive family escape in Abu Dhabi, this is it."
She praised the hotel's setting, food, and amenities, adding: "Firstly, the setting is spectacular. Powder-white sand, turquoise water and a beautiful natural coastline, there are moments when it genuinely feels like you could be in the Maldives. Then there’s the food, and this is where Rixos completely changes the perception of all-inclusive. An incredible choice of restaurants, cuisines and dining experiences, with quality that makes food a real highlight of the stay."
Backlash over gardening video
The holiday snaps come after Laura hit back at criticism over her social media posts. She had posted a video of herself doing garden chores in just a bikini and wellies, captioned: "Trimming my bush… the glamorous side of gardening. Bikini, tractor, sunshine and a bit of hard work, what more could you ask for? What’s your favourite garden job… or the one you’d happily leave to someone else?"
Although many loved the post, some criticised it. Responding to the backlash, Laura said: "I've been doing property since I was 19 and you want to make sure that you come across in a serious way and people take you seriously with what you're putting out there." She added: "But equally, I don't want to take away from the fact of who I am. And, you know, I have got a fun side to my personality and it's finding that balance."
