Former Love Island star Laura Anderson has revealed she is nursing a 'broken heart' following her split from Dundee FC footballer Clark Robertson. The 37-year-old is currently taking part in a 100-km fundraising trek along the Jurassic Coast for breast cancer charity CoppaFeel!, alongside new Strictly host Emma Willis, author Giovanna Fletcher, Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown and presenter Jackie Adedeji.
Speaking to OK! magazine shortly before the trek, Laura admitted the challenge comes at an emotional time but said it has given her a renewed sense of purpose. 'I've got a little broken heart,' she said. 'But there are people dealing with far bigger problems than that; there's nothing worse than having your health affected. Then this came up, and I thought, 'This is exactly what I need to be doing.' I also feel like I'm going on a healing journey myself.'
Laura, who has a three-year-old daughter Bonnie, said she is looking forward to the child-free days the trek will provide, with her mother Barbara looking after Bonnie. Reflecting on single motherhood, she said: 'It's really hard. You want to look after yourself, get work done, tidy the house and make sure your child is OK.'
Laura also revealed she was approached to appear on Love Island All Stars in 2025 shortly after meeting Clark but chose love over the villa. Although the relationship ended, she has no regrets: 'I feel like I'm a bit too old for the Love Island villa now anyway.'
Looking ahead, Laura is planning a trip to Disneyland Paris with Bonnie and a blended-family holiday to Turkey with Gary Lucy's ex-wife Natasha Gray and Bonnie's half-siblings. She described Natasha as 'lovely' and said they talk all the time.
