Lana Del Rey has offered fans a rare glimpse into her private life with husband Jeremy Dufrene, following their intimate wedding in Louisiana last September. The 39-year-old singer posted a photo dump on Instagram, including a picture of the couple kissing as she prepared for the 2025 Met Gala. Fans noticed her alligator hair pin on the black carpet, a subtle nod to Dufrene's career as an alligator tour guide.
Del Rey and Dufrene were first romantically linked in August 2024, but they have known each other for at least five years. The connection began when Del Rey took one of Dufrene's air boat tours in March 2019 while performing at the BUKU Music + Art Project festival. She posted photos on social media at the time, captioning one: 'Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur's Air Boat Tours x.'
The couple's wedding took place by the water in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, on the same bayou where Dufrene conducts his swamp boat tours. Del Rey was walked down the aisle by her father, Robert Grant, wearing a flowing white bridal gown with her hair in a curled ponytail. Dufrene, a father of two, operates Arthur's Air Boat Tours, a small business that has hosted celebrities including Glen Powell, Emma Roberts, and Kate Hudson.
In May 2024, Del Rey reconnected with Dufrene while attending Hangout Fest in Louisiana, sharing photos of a swamp trip and tagging him on Instagram with the caption: 'Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene.' The couple were later seen together at Leeds Festival in August 2024 and were reported to have dined at a pub and shopped at Harrods in London.
Del Rey's ninth studio album, Lasso, is expected in 2025, though no exact release date has been confirmed. The country-infused record may include her collaboration with Migos rapper Quavo, 'Tough,' but it remains unclear if the song will appear on the album.
