Lady Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky have welcomed their first child together, according to reports. The pair were spotted in photographs with the newborn out and about in California, and though details are few and far between, the pictures have come as a shock to the A-list singer's fans.
Photos published but no official confirmation
The exciting news has not been confirmed by the 40-year-old singer or her representatives, but Page Six has published photos of her carrying a baby.
During a March 2025 interview with The New York Times, Gaga spoke about her excitement over potentially starting a family while admitting that she had once been apprehensive about motherhood. “I’m excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it,” she said.
“The thing that’s the most important to me is to not force my children to live a life that they are not choosing. So the more that we can give them space to discover who they are on their own, that’s the thing that I believe in the most.”
Couple kept a low profile
There had been some speculation over the star's relationship with Polansky, with the pair lying low in recent months with few public appearances. However, a source close to Gaga told the outlet that “everything is good” and praised the singer for having Polansky by her side. “They have an amazing biodome of love. Seems like a really safe place for her,” according to the US Mirror.
Gaga appeared on The Stephen Colbert Show in October 2025 and again spoke about her hopes of becoming a mother, making it clear that starting a family was high on her list of priorities. “I would like to do many things,” the actress said. “All of these things are open. But, what I really want, is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”
