Kym Marsh and her boyfriend Dan Hooper have been enjoying their first holiday together in the Algarve, Portugal, with both of their extended families. The Coronation Street actress, 38, was seen looking happy and relaxed in a coral-coloured bikini as she spent time on the beach with Dan, a 31-year-old personal trainer.
The couple, who have been dating since April, were described by onlookers as being very affectionate. One observer said: "They looked really loved up. They were messing around but it’s clear they’re totally into each other."
The family affair included Kym's parents, David and Pauline, as well as her children David, 19, Emily Mae, 16, and Polly, three. Dan's parents, Helen and Steve, also joined the group, though his three-year-old daughter Lexi remained at home with her mother, Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring.
Fellow holidaymakers noted that the two families appeared to be getting along well. One said: "They were all having a great time. We saw them around a few times and it just looked like your normal family holiday. Everyone looked very relaxed and happy."
A source close to the couple told the Sunday Mirror: "Kym’s the picture of happiness. Things with Dan couldn’t be better and this holiday with their families has really brought them closer together." The trip comes shortly after Kym's divorce from Jamie Lomas, father of her daughter Polly, was finalised last month.
Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in Corrie, shared her joy on social media, tweeting: "This is pure heaven! Best Hols ever with my amazing family and my beauts @Dan_hoops," and later adding, "What an amazing hols this has been! Truly the best family in the world!! #blessed."
