Kylie Jenner has said she feels “the clock is ticking” as her 30th birthday approaches. The 29-year-old, who will turn 30 in August 2027, told fashion website Who What Wear that she was planning a “personal refresh” as the milestone approached.
Planning a personal refresh
“I think there’s something that happens when you’re turning 29, I’ll be 30 next year, and you almost feel like the clock is ticking, even though you’re still so young,” she said. “So you’re trying, I’m trying, I don’t want to look back on life and be like, there’s things that I wish I did when I was younger.”
Jenner, the daughter of Olympic gold medallist Caitlyn Jenner and media personality Kris Jenner, as well as the sister of Kendall Jenner and half sister of Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, said she wanted to avoid regrets.
Stepping out of her comfort zone
“Even though I already have children so young, I feel like I lived such an adult life when I was young, and I’m trying to make sure that I don’t have any regrets and to do brave things, and give myself more opportunities or take advantage of the ones I have,” she added.
“Kim (Kardashian) inspires me in that way because she does a lot of things that excite her but, at the same time, scare her, and it’s amazing to watch her achieve and chase her dreams. I’m just trying to do more things, choose a few things a year, get out of my comfort zone, and just go for it.”
Future acting roles
The star appeared in Charli XCX’s Brat mockumentary The Moment earlier this year and later revealed she had turned down two scripts for further acting roles. “I haven’t found the right thing yet,” she said.
“There were two scripts that came to me that I passed on, but I read something recently that I’m kind of interested in. the best I’ve felt about something so far. It’s just a pilot, it hasn’t been picked up yet. I’m feeling more precious about what I do next because I want to make sure it’s the right fit, especially if I’m going to do something major and have to travel and be away from my kids. I want to make sure it feels right.”
Jenner is best known for her appearances on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV show, which ran from 2007 to 2021, and also on the series The Kardashians from 2022. She is currently in a relationship with Marty Supreme actor Timothee Chalamet.
