Kim Kardashian brought a dose of high-octane holiday glamour to West Hollywood on Thursday evening, making a grand entrance at a festive bash for her shapewear brand, SKIMS.
A Grand Arrival in Velvet and Satin
The 45-year-old reality television star and businesswoman arrived at Hyde Nightclub in a sleek silver vehicle, stepping out to showcase a meticulously curated winter look. She chose a figure-hugging black velvet dress, which featured a row of buttons down the front and a chic bow detail at the waistline.
Kardashian accessorised the ensemble with a pair of open-toed, dark red pumps and a matching red purse held in her right hand. She layered a fuzzy brown cover-up over the dress, which draped elegantly to her elbows. An eye-catching flash of red satin fabric at the back of the outfit added a dramatic and stylish flare to the overall appearance.
Festive Beauty and Extravagant Home Decor
Her beauty look complemented the outfit perfectly, with her dark hair parted to the side and falling in soft waves past her shoulders. Makeup included a smoky eye shadow, mascara-coated lashes, and a warm blush to accentuate her cheekbones, finished with a nude lip tint.
This outing continues Kardashian's festive month, following a Christmas party the previous week where she wore a plunging black dress. However, her holiday spirit is most evident at home. She recently gave fans a glimpse inside her Hidden Hills mansion, showcasing extravagant decorations that reportedly include Christmas trees worth a combined $10,000.
In a clip shared on her Instagram Stories, multiple trees adorned with fake snow and classic yellow lights could be seen throughout her abode. "This is what I come home to," she was heard saying quietly in the background.
A Very Kardashian Christmas Tradition
The star's unique holiday traditions extend beyond decorations. Late last year, reports emerged that Kardashian pays a six-figure sum to have her ex-husband Kanye West's pianist, Philip Cornish, play holiday tunes to wake her four children on Christmas morning and throughout December.
A source told The Sun that Cornish, who has grown closer to the family and even gives piano lessons to her eldest daughter North, is treated to gifts and food from the family chef as part of the "full VIP Kardashian treatment."
The famous family is now preparing for their annual Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve gathering. Last year's celebration was a more intimate affair held at model Kendall Jenner's $8.5 million home, a trend the supermodel hints will continue. "We're doing a smaller one again this year, and I'm really happy about it. And so it'll be cozy vibes," Jenner recently told People.
