Kelly Ripa has revealed her struggles with the temptation of breast augmentation, admitting that despite multiple consultations, she has always been scared off by potential complications. The talk show host discussed her flat-chested physique on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, saying, 'I have no boobs. We know that I'm flat-chested. It's not a mystery at this point. It's almost a point of pride.'
Ripa explained that breastfeeding her three children—Joaquin, 22, Lola, 24, and Michael, 28—with husband Mark Consuelos left her with 'nipples that hang lower' and a size that went 'from an A to an A long.' When asked if she had ever considered surgery, she admitted to attending numerous consultations but being deterred by horror stories. 'I've gone to more breast augmentation consults than I would like to admit,' she said, adding that online tales of complications 'talk me right out of it.'
The 54-year-old also cited age and the need for repeated surgeries as major factors. 'Let's say I get them at 55. Right? That means at 65, I have to swap them out. At 75, I'm on my second pair? Let's say I live to 85, I'm going under the knife again?' she said, concluding, 'I'm good.'
