Ripa revealed that the microneedling was performed on her buttocks, specifically her "ass cheeks," with the intention of making her bottom appear younger and perkier. However, the 55-year-old star admitted that the process ultimately proved ineffective. She remarked that her posterior looked "as old as before," leading her to quip that "desperate times call for desperate measures."
History of Cosmetic Enhancements
This is not the first time Ripa has spoken openly about her cosmetic treatments. In February, she disclosed that she received Botox injections in her armpits. Additionally, the former soap opera actress has mentioned the possibility of getting a facelift in the future, indicating her ongoing interest in aesthetic procedures.

During a conversation about koalas on their Live with Kelly and Mark talk show, Consuelos described mating habits, prompting Ripa to pretend to roll over and insert her retainer, quipping, "He hears the retainer pop in, it's like a chastity belt."
Consuelos added, "When you put it in, it's like, click, click, click. Alright, guess I'm going to bed," and joked about approaching with a eucalyptus leaf.
