Kelly Osbourne Hits Back at Weight Critics in Swimsuit

Kelly Osbourne has hit back at body-shamers with a defiant social media post, posing in a striking white swimsuit aboard a luxury yacht. The 41-year-old daughter of late Black Sabbath star Ozzy Osbourne, who died last year, has faced a barrage of cruel comments in recent months, with keyboard warriors accusing her of being too thin and using Ozempic.

Defiant Response to Online Abuse

The vile comments, including being told she 'looks like a corpse,' have flooded social media. However, the mum-of-one has now responded in style. Sporting an elegant white swimsuit, an enormous straw hat, designer sunglasses, and a string of gold necklaces, Kelly flashed her biggest smile while looking out at an inky blue sea. Captioning the snap, which has been liked by thousands, she declared: "Serving sea, sun, and zero apologies."

Continued Trolling After Public Appearances

The star, who heartbreakingly revealed her famous father was her 'best friend' after his death, has faced numerous cruel jibes about her appearance, particularly after her Brit Awards appearance earlier this year. Kelly, who accepted the award with her grieving mother Sharon, received a barrage of abuse with several fans criticizing her appearance and saying she looked too thin. After her Grammys appearance, she was callously told she looked like a 'dead body.'

Responding to the abuse, Kelly wrote: "There is a special kind of cruelty in hurting someone who is clearly going through something." Sharing a screenshot of the cruel comments, she added: "Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!"

Addressing Critics Directly

Addressing her critics again last month, the reality TV star said that people have to be 'unwell' to make such horrible remarks. "I will be honest and say that I’ve never experienced cruelty like it," she told Us Weekly about the online trolling. "And I don’t think anyone deserves that kind of cruelty. You have to be very mentally unwell to say the things that people are saying about me. I feel sorry for them."

Weight Loss Journey and Denial of Ozempic Use

The Fashion Police star has lost weight in recent years after developing gestational diabetes during her pregnancy with her son, Sidney. Some presumed she had used Ozempic after her mother, Sharon, admitted to trying it. However, Kelly has always denied using the medication, though she did undergo gastric band surgery in 2018. The star lost 85 lbs. following the major operation, but struggled again with her appearance while pregnant with her first child, Sidney, who was born in 2022.
