Kelly Brook Reveals She Rejected Weight Loss Jab Offer Before I'm A Celebrity

Kelly Brook has revealed that she was offered weight loss medication before entering the I'm A Celebrity jungle, but firmly rejected the proposal. The former glamour model, now 46, said a doctor suggested she try Mounjaro, a diabetes drug often used for weight loss, but she questioned the need for it.

Speaking on the How to Fail podcast, Brook recalled her response: 'I said, 'What do I need that for?' The doctor replied, 'Everyone's on it.' I said, 'Well I'm not on it!' She asked about side effects and was told there were none, but remained unconvinced. 'I don't comply and he knows,' she added.

Brook, who was the first contestant to use the jungle shower this series, has spoken candidly about body image and ageing. She said she hopes the public will accept her as she is now, rather than comparing her to her younger self when she was crowned FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World.

Despite turning down the jabs, Brook admitted she enjoys some cosmetic treatments like Botox, but draws the line at altering her body. 'I absolutely love my body,' she said. 'I ran a marathon this year at 45. My body has got me through so many things. I love my curves, my husband loves my curves.'

Her husband, model Jeremy Parisi, praised her confidence, saying it's 'hard for women in the public eye to be put under such scrutiny' but that she is a 'positive role model'. Brook also revealed she prepared for the jungle by cutting out caffeine, wine and sugar, and undergoing laser hair removal.
