Kelly Brook Rejects Weight Loss Jab Offer Before I'm A Celebrity Appearance

Kelly Brook has revealed she was offered weight loss medication before entering the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, but she firmly declined. The 46-year-old TV and radio host, who was the first contestant to use the jungle shower in the current series, said a doctor suggested she take Mounjaro, a weight loss jab, shortly before she flew to Australia.

Speaking on the How to Fail podcast, Brook recalled her incredulous response: 'I said, 'What do I need that for?' The doctor said, 'Everyone's on it.' And I said, 'Well I'm not on it! What are the side effects?' He goes, 'There aren't any.' I don't comply and he knows.'

The former glamour model, who began her career at 16 and was crowned FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World, has been open about her changing body and the cruel trolling she has faced. 'Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore,' she told the Mirror. 'Life changes and your body changes. I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now.'

Brook, married to model Jeremy Parisi, said she loves her body and has no desire to alter it with injections. 'I absolutely love my body. I ran a marathon this year and I'm 45 years old. My body has got me through so many things. I love my curves, my husband loves my curves. I just think it's unfortunate that women feel the need to change who they are,' she explained.

While she is comfortable with her weight, Brook admitted to some preparation for the jungle, including cutting down on caffeine, wine and sugar, and undergoing 'body lasering' for hair removal. She also confessed to being terrified of snakes, spiders and heights, but said facing her phobias would be 'empowering'.
