Darryl Rees was initially shocked when he received a call merely an hour before the planned ceremony, only for it to be abruptly cancelled because it was "getting dark." The service was hastily rescheduled for the following day at the luxurious One & Only The Palm on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, a venue charging up to £1,500 per night. In a frantic turn of events, Lee Andrews reportedly sent Darryl a voice note at midnight, just hours before the wedding, containing essential details for the ceremony.
"Because time was against us, I was like, 'when you get a chance, can you send me a voice note with all the details?'" Darryl explained to The Sun. "He didn't send me a voice note until like 12 o'clock that night. He said they were doing something. So then I got a voice note with the manifestation part, the 1111 tattoos they mentioned and then the names and then that. So I just personalised that bit."
