Katie Price's children have revealed their shock after learning of their mother's engagement and subsequent marriage to Lee Andrews via a WhatsApp message. The former glamour model, 47, announced her engagement last month after meeting Andrews on Instagram just days earlier, and the pair secretly married within 48 hours.
Princess, 18, and Junior, 20, shared their reactions on Princess's reality show, The Princess Diaries. Princess said she replied 'OMG' to the group chat message, adding: 'Mum's very impulsive, but that is impulse on a whole other level... I don't know anything about him.' Junior responded: 'I'm so confused. What a bombshell... She's flipping married him. I don't know the guy, so it's shocking.'
Despite their surprise, both children expressed support for their mother. Junior said he only cares whether Andrews treats Katie properly, while Princess noted that the relationship is 'crazy' but not surprising, as she and Junior have 'trauma bonded' over their parents' turbulent history.
Meanwhile, Andrews, who lives in Dubai, has claimed that Katie will return to the UAE soon, despite ongoing regional conflict. The UK Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel to the UAE, warning that flights may be disrupted and travel insurance invalidated if advice is ignored.
