Katie Price has married businessman Lee Andrews in a surprise Dubai wedding, wearing a dress that cost just £12 from online retailer Shein. The reality star tied the knot hours after announcing her engagement, with the ceremony taking place in a luxurious location.
The dress, priced at £11.89, featured a cut-out around the midriff. However, other elements of her outfit were more expensive: she carried a Chanel purse worth £2,250 and wore Rene Caovilla heels retailing at £1,510. A source told The Mirror that the shoes were bought while shopping with her daughter Princess, who was unaware of the engagement and is said to be heartbroken.
Katie's family are reportedly concerned about the speed of the relationship. A source said: 'Kate married Lee without telling anyone – the whole family are completely horrified. It is moving very fast and they are concerned about Kate’s frame of mind. No one knows who Lee really is and whether he is any good for her.'
Lee's mother, Trisha, a medium from Nottingham, defended her son, stating that she knew about the wedding and is looking forward to meeting Katie. She said: 'There’s a lot of lies going around about Lee... He’s not been married twice. I just want to defend my son... He did tell me that the wedding was happening.'
