Katie Price Breaks Silence on Bankruptcy with Bizarre Video

Katie Price has sparked backlash after posting a video joking about her financial troubles, just days after promising to keep her bankruptcy issues private. The 46-year-old former glamour model filmed herself lounging on a deck chair with her dog, captioning the clip: 'Dealing with my finances privately, is very respectful and very demure.'

The video comes after her latest court hearing was postponed to allow for a 'private interview' with her bankruptcy trustee. Price appeared at the Rolls Building in London clad in black and wearing large sunglasses, where she agreed to attend the interview scheduled for September 24. Outside court, she told reporters: 'I hope you reporters write a good story today, won't you, all the bulls**t that you write, scumbags.'

Fans criticised the video as 'tone deaf' and 'childish', with one commenting: 'Not sure that this is very demure.' Another wrote: 'Privately? Hahah you couldn't do anything private.' However, some supporters defended her, calling the post 'iconic'.

Price was arrested at Heathrow Airport earlier this month after returning from Turkey, where she had undergone a £10,000 facelift. She had missed a previous bankruptcy hearing, prompting a judge to issue a warrant for her arrest. Price was warned she must attend Tuesday's hearing 'with no ifs, no buts' or risk further arrest.

This marks Price's third bankruptcy, following declarations in 2019 and March this year. She owes more than £750,000 in tax, yet has continued to take luxury holidays and undergo cosmetic procedures. Her Sussex home, dubbed the 'Mucky Mansion', has been at the centre of her financial woes.
