Katie Price and JJ Slater have parted ways after the former glamour model issued an ultimatum over marriage, sources have revealed. Price, 45, became frustrated with Slater's reluctance to tie the knot, leading to the end of their relationship.
A source told The Mirror: 'This has been on the cards for a long time. Katie was pushing for marriage and security but JJ had checked out. The age gap didn’t matter at the start but the cracks started to appear and her urgency for another baby and for a wedding put a lot of pressure on him.'
Price, who has five children, gave Slater an ultimatum: 'Right, you either marry me, or you don’t. It was all or nothing.' The source added that Slater 'wasn’t up for all the drama that comes with being with Katie Price and he got cold feet.'
Hours before the news broke, Price hinted at being single on her podcast, saying: 'Years ago, I was always afraid of being on my own. I always felt I needed someone. How I am now, I always say, I don't need a man.' However, the source believes she will quickly move on, saying: 'She can’t cope without a partner. It wouldn’t be surprising if she had someone lined up already.'
Price and Slater began dating in 2023 after her split from Carl Woods. Despite denying split rumours in December, the couple have now gone their separate ways. A representative for Price denied earlier claims of a split, but the latest reports have been confirmed by sources.
