Katie Price shows off 'owned by Lee' tattoo in Ibiza

Katie Price displayed her "owned by Lee" rib tattoo while on holiday in Ibiza, amid conflicting reports that her marriage is close to collapsing. The 48-year-old mother of five sparked surprise earlier this year when she announced she had married Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews, just one week after meeting him in person.

The couple, who have now been married for eight months, unveiled matching tattoos in April. Lee has the words "Owned by Katie" inked on his body. However, he is thought to be currently held in Al-Awir Prison in Dubai.

Katie has been spotted both wearing and not wearing her wedding ring, prompting some fans to express concerns that the relationship could be in trouble.

Documentary investigation reported

Closer magazine alleged at the end of the week that Katie is planning to recruit a TV documentary crew to investigate the life history of her husband. A source told the publication: "Several high-profile documentary makers, including Louis Theroux, think the story of her marriage could make one of the most explosive celebrity investigations in years."

The source added: "The idea being discussed is far bigger than a standard documentary. Producers want to properly investigate who her husband really is, what she was told, what was true and what may have been hiding in plain sight. They want to help her discover the truth once and for all."

The source continued: "Katie is fascinated by the idea because she feels like she will finally get answers. She is already joking that she’s about to become a detective in her own marriage, but underneath the humour, she is deadly serious about finding out what’s actually happened." The Mirror has contacted a representative of Katie for comment.

Previous documentary series

This development follows Katie's earlier documentary series with Louis's production company, Mindhouse, which offered a retrospective look at her life after 30 years in the spotlight. The four-part series, titled Nothing to Hide, was released via Sky in July this year and received a mild welcome from TV critics.

Arron Fellows, co-founder and creative director of Mindhouse, said before the show was aired: "Katie’s 30 years in the spotlight have been truly extraordinary."

He added: "This series doesn’t shy away from – in Katie’s own words – ’the good, the bad and the ugly’; and this is an unexpected re-appraisal of a woman many people feel they have already figured out."

Fellows also noted: "Paddy and the team have spoken to a range of contributors who have crossed paths with Katie at different junctures of her life – through the ups, the downs and everything in between. In doing so have crafted a series that is as jaw-dropping and unpredictable as it is tender and surprising."
