Katie Price has shared a cryptic Instagram post telling fans “I survived”, as speculation continues over the future of her marriage to Lee Andrews. The 48-year-old posted the message in her trademark pink over a quote about betrayal and difficult times, in a series of Instagram Story posts.
Cryptic posts and missing rings
One post read: “My side of the story doesn't matter anymore. Life happened, it hurt, I healed, but most importantly, I learned who deserves a seat at my table and who will never sit at it again.” Another read: “I will never, ever forget who helped me in difficult times, who put me in difficult times, and who left me in difficult times.”
Katie has been seen without her wedding ring in recent weeks, hinting that the romance could be over. In a video shared to her social media earlier this month, showing her partying in Ibiza with Wayne Lineker at his O Beach Club alongside her son Harvey, 24, she was no longer wearing her engagement ring.
Last month she removed her wedding ring after scenes aired from her new documentary where she revealed her family refuse to meet her fourth husband. She did put it back on, but has since not been seen with it on.
Dubai absence and Lee's ex's claims
Adding to the speculation, Katie does not appear to have been in Dubai since early June, despite having constantly hopped back and forth to see her husband in previous months. For the second time since they wed, Lee is reportedly behind bars in Dubai. Katie's own family, including her younger sister Sophie, have warned her against him.
The cryptic posts come days after Lee's ex, Alana Percival, to whom he proposed weeks before asking for Katie's hand in marriage, made a series of claims about him. Speaking on The Chaos Corner, Alana branded Lee “delusional”.
During her appearance on the podcast, an anonymous woman spoke about his latest time in jail. She said: “He tells them every single week that he's getting out of jail. So when it gets to Thursday or Friday, he goes 'Oh, all my paperwork has been sorted. I'm getting released on Monday.' And he says it every single week. He just makes himself look like a clown. Even a couple of weeks ago, he said a famous celebrity had paid to get him out, and everyone asked who it was, and he said he couldn't say because he'd signed an NDA.”
Alana responded: “Absolutely wild like how much he talks and it's just none of it makes sense and you know where it comes from. Like it's delusional.”
Prior to this, the pair would often gush about one another on social media. Katie was also forced to deny Lee's claims that he was planning to release a sex tape, saying that his comments were “just a joke”.
